QUESTION FROM AKASH
Sometimes I’m in great rhythm but most of the time I’m not. I want to know why I don’t bowl with great rhythm most of the time and what I can do to get into rhythm consistently?
I’m glad you asked this question as I think it’s something most bowlers get confused about.
Most of the professional bowlers that we’ve spoken to have all said that they have the same problem! Rhythm is not something which you’ll have all the time. From our experience, the best advice we can give you is to write down the things that felt right when you were in rhythm and use them as checkpoints whenever you go out to play.
Another thing you can do is to have a process which you use to warm up with before a game. Follow your process religiously to give yourself the best chance of firing on the day.
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail!
I hope that helps you have a better understanding of rhythm.
All the best.
