My front leg is not facing towards the batsman, what can I do?
This is common even amongst international cricketers. The best advice I can give you is to drill the new position (straight foot/leg). Create a channel with some cones and aim to get your body moving efficiently down that channel. It’s not going to be easy or happen overnight so you must be very patient.
You’re trying to overwrite what your body is used to naturally doing. That isn’t an easy thing to do and it takes time.
Progress your drills from static, to walkthrough, jog-through and eventually full run-up bowling. Be prepared for things to go back to square one at times, just keep going.
I hope that helps.
All the best.
